I agree that the Crowne Plaza Hotel Georgia is a great option. I'm not sure what kind of rates are available generally, but my company's corporate rate is usually $109 and as a PC Plat I always get upgraded to the Club Floor with free buffet breakfast in the main restaurant and drink coupons for the lounge in the lobby.

It's a charming old hotel with the usual old hotel quirks like slow elevators and smallish rooms. That said I find it charming and considerably cheaper than the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver across the street. For the money it's become my favourite place to stay in Vancouver.
