Is there a strategy to calling a particular number and at a certain time of day to get the most reliable reservations agents. I usually call the Premier number and get the "Enter your mileage #, etc." prompts and all that. This is the same message that I get if I call the General Reservations number.

I'm also hoping to find the best time of day to perhaps avoid the outsourced overseas agents if possible. My issue with them is that it can be very difficult to communicate (from my several times trying) due to accented language. They also seem to be much less experienced and need to ask someone else to do nearly ANYTHING on my reservation.

What do people do to minimize these issues, other than use united.com?
