I have stayed at the CP downtown and it is nice. The location is obviously perfect to downtown and some interesting neighborhoods, and they handle things that might be hassles given the constraints of a busy downtown -- I'm thinking especially of parking -- pretty well. The main thing I remember about my stay there in March was that the room was nice and I think a slight upgrade over what I booked as a Platinum, but the staff was extremely friendly to me. I also think I was bumped to the executive/lounge floor. Hope that helps,
