My best UGS moment happened yesterday at IAD. Gate Agent boarding flight 217 IAD to SEA at 8:30 makes announcement for first class. Mr & Mrs. UGS try to cut the lane with his UGS status and be first to board and gate agent stops them and says, "I'm sorry I'm only boarding first class right now!" To which Mr. UGS replies, "But I'm UGS, I always board with first class!" Gate agent, "Not today! I'll make the announcement for seating area 1 in a moment right now were late and I'm only boarding first class, you'll have to wait!" I, as a 1K, proceeded to board ahead of Mr. UGS and take my upgraded seat in first.
