I have flew WT+ tonnes this year and find that if you ask for extra booze they crew are more than willing to oblige. Last week flying back from PVG, very quite flight couplemof gents opposite us had whiskey and dry on the go most the flight, i would say that they were not necking it like it was going out of fashion but were steadily pacing themselves. Myself and the missus had our fair share during the flight. My tip is to be very chatty and friendly with the crew and dont drink like there is tomorrow If you press the buzzer every 15 mins then i would guess that the drink would dry fairly quickly
I remember one very memorable flight with an excellent crew, pursar was a guy called Gary, on the way back from NRT, he noticed i like a drop of the old grape, and topped me up virtualy the whole flight. Must be honest felt like C*** at the end of the flight, last time i drank steadily through a flight.
On the other hand caught a long haul in Y with Air Pants a few years ago and after asking for a third beer, was told by a crew member in a very abrubt manner who was obviousley far too healthy that i should n't drink so much

I didn't think at the time to tell her not to wear so much foundation or to try a long lasting blonde hair colour but you always think of these things after the event
