When I first flew BA Y about 10 years ago the literally threw as much booze at you as you could take. There was usually two drinks rounds before dinner...

Last time I flew in WT+ a year or so ago there was only one drinks round - and the question "Would you also like to take some wine for the dinner".

No sign of the trolley after that until breakfast - but I found them more than willing to dispense whatever I wanted when I went to the galley and asked.
