My partner has just flown to the US and, since it is on business, he has sadly been relegated to Virgin and to PE Just spoke to him this morning and he loved the AVOD (come on BA!) but commented that there was very strict rationing of the booze. We are talking two glasses of wine for an entire 8 hour flight and requests in the galley were met with a sour face. In fact they even made an announcement to that effect citing the usual health and safety blurb. Obviously this is a bit rich coming from an airline which has a bar in UC and it strikes me as an obvious cost-cutting ploy but I was just wondering if BA has adopted the same mean policy at the back of the plane.
