1. Nope, Virgin use the industry-standard Empower type adapters, which various manufacturers such as Targus make compatible cables for. Virgin will loan you a cable for your laptop whilst onboard, or you can take your own if your model of machine is particularly specialist

2. No adapter required, your Bose will plug straight in.
