just tell him to pick up the tab and dinner and you're square... it has worked for me in the past... I've given FC reward seats to family members who don't truly comprehend the speed in which I earn these points, so they think it is *monumental* thing that I did for them... when they insist on some sort of repayment, I just tell 'em that that if they must do something, then let's just go out to dinner...
then suggest a restaurant that is reasonably priced, *not* Le Cirque or Ruth's Chris...
