Virgin's Y seats are really really cramped. I would try for the exit. Prob. is that I don't think CO offers exit seats on the code-shares.

CO does buy 10 Upper Class seats from VS. Problem with getting the upgrades is that you must call every day within the 30 day block. CO will not and can not waitlist you, no matter what they tell you over the phone.
