Is this worth it?
I am already receiving double points for the every day stuff mentioned.

It's worth it if you have more than one person on the card account. Five free additional card holders is nice.
It's nice if you want to be able to transfer at a 1:1 rate to airline and hotel partners; your 'options' level is designed more for using points for certificates and merchandise, opposed to traveling because of the 2:1 xfer rate.
It's nice because you can borrow up to 10K points per calendar year and future purchases 'pay back' that loan of points. This is the *ONLY* Amex card that lets you borrow points. You can't even get it with a Platinum or Centurion card.
You get the double points the first year with airline/hotel partners and 1.5 points each year after that. If you use your cards at those partners, the points will start to accumulate quickly.
Plus you would get the 10K point bonus, which is $100 in certificates. Or you could send it over to a hotel/airline partner.
