Restauarnts Savings Program doubles in value (relatively) for SOME restaurants July 1
AAdvatnage Dining is, as of this morning, showing all:
- All 5 mi/$ restaurants staying at 5 mi/$ (those are the ones that are 10% cashback in Restaurant Savings Program).
- All 10 mi/$ restaurants changing to 5 mi/$ on July 1 (next Friday).
- All 20 mi/$ restaurants changing to 10 mi/$ on July 1 (next Friday).
But at Restaurant Savings Program, there is no sign of such selective devluation, and those up-to-now 10 mi/$ restaurants have been and are staying at 20% cashback, and those up-to-now 20 mi/$ restaurants have been and are staying at 40% cashback.
This means that effectively Restauarnt Savings Program is doubling in RELATIVE value (comparing to getting miles or points for dining) on July 1, but only for 20% and 40% cashback restauarants. For 10% cashback restaurants, the relative value compared to mileage programs is unchanged.
