Did the same trip the other week and thought the same about the meal. We were delayed 30 mins, so by the time we were served, or rather had breakfast thrown at us, it was 12.30 KRK time. I thought it would have been better to do a leisurely drinks service followed by a hot lunch. It also didn't help that the crew were of the miserable-disappear-and-read-the-Daily-Mail variety.

Any yes, Krakow is a beautiful place. Not too many rowdy stag parites either - just yet anyway.

I don't know if you have plans for dinner, but I would reccommend Wentzl on the main square (Rynek Główny 19.) A good mix of traditional and modern Polish food, and the apple struedel was out of this world (not sure quite how Polish that is though!)
