The Saintly one is enjoying Krakow this weekend. Flew out from one of the nice new gates at LGW. Lovely view and pleasant surroundings in the new pod. Escalators sound a bit creaky, so expect them to go tech shortly.
Taking advantage of the I-Class deals, I take my seat in CE. Notice immediately that the seats are in economy configuration. Wait until passengers have finished boarding before mentioning it to crew member. Her instant reaction is, "no they're not".

I point out that it is easy to tell, as the A and C seats have not been squeezed (i.e. you could still seat a passenger in B). She can see what I mean, but doesn't acknowledge that I am right. Nothing more is said.
About 5 mins later, purser starts addressing us with the usual banter and ends with the customary, "if there is anything that we can do to make your journey more comfortable... blah blah blah". So I get up to advise her that the CE seats are in economy configuration. She tells me that she knows and that someone is coming to fix them. So about 10 mins later all the CE passengers have to get off in order for the special key to be applied by the special key operator.
We get underway and then are served a cooked breakfast - on a flight leaving at 10.45

. Would have preferred lunch - 11.45 KRK time and arrival timed at 14.15, but of course that would cost too much.
Anyway, to digress (OT in my own post

) Krakow is absolutely stunning and I do recommend it highly.
