This is just one of the reasons I am ready to dump this card and program, which I plan to do once they credit everything I have due. Why can't they be like any other program and just give you the points as you make the purchases? And then they tell you that the points aren't really available until "the charges are paid in full." Personally, I think it's to keep you off balance and make it very difficult to track what you are owed. Any other credit card that I am aware of, if you make the charge by the closing date, they just credit the points or miles to the account without all the bull****.
There's a 2 month lag time for the Membership rewards points info vs. the card statement info when you are looking at a paper statement. The first month they are pending, then the next month they are posted (or forfeited due to payment not on time or in full according to the terms/conditions of the program).
If you log online with a username and password, you should be able to see MR info in current time, not the 2 month lag. And the system updates about every 30 days.
Points can be accelerated if there is a payment being shown. But the accelerated points have to be used when they are accelerated.
