BTW, this could not be done properly if status of Aeroplan award travelers does not appear on the manifest as Es and SEs would appear as non-status travelers.
They have been instructed to do so when they did new J service training about 3 years ago. I know that it's not always done, but it is on my flights. Trust me, it's AC - definitely MY airline of choice for the last 29 years and 348 days (i.e. my entire life!!)
