The most egregious ticket-sales offenders, such as myself, don't red-flag ourselves and haven't had any trouble for years.
I almost always pay walkup fares as well due to the fact that most of travel is short notice business and shorthop, not that that matters. In fact, I don't think I've bought anything other than a fully refundable ticket in the last 10 months or so.
