I think it depends on the hotel / restaurant

I have been about 8 times with in a 18 month period in a Four Season. People greet friendly, know my preferences, try to get things organized (airport pick-up, restaurant reservation for the arrival date) and other things. But always professional ...Maybe except the concierge, who got made a comment that i had my (female) spanish teacher come to my room everyday for two weeks ... he must have thought it was something other "professional" on until he heard we sometimes met in the exec lounge for tea and studying

Oh and a restaurant, same town, I don't need a reservation, and when I come they don't bring the menue as they know that I know what I want, embarrasing if you go with colleagues ...
