Maybe it has to do with there new program all together on time? When I flew from LGA to DCA 2 days ago we pushed back 10 minutes early. And last week from DFW to DCA we pushed back 15 minutes early but that flight everyone was already boarded and seated so I an understand why for that flight.

That flight should not have pushed back early knowing they had a passenger still coming in.
