You should be able to get a room in one of the All-Star resorts in WDW for around $100/night in late Oct. Then you can take the buses everywhere so you don't have to worry about getting a rental car. IMO there aren't 4 nights worth of things to do in Disneyland but you could easily spend that and more in WDW.
