Not quite sure what you expect but, I don't think airlines have ever offered cash compensation. Why are you mad at CO. If it was a slide that blew (couldn't tell from the unintelligible post) then their hands were tied, they had to take people off. It's already a big money loss (takes a few thousand to repack one of those slides) and then all the pax want to stick it to them. Do you think they wanted something like this to happen? It's just the over litigious society that we live in. The moment anyone is inconvenienced, whether it's on purpose or not, they are owed the world.
