I am curious if any Chicago locals would walk from the Chicago Hilton to McCormick Place, if you needed / wanted to.
I could take a taxi but I prefer to walk when I can (distance is not too far) as it allows me to take in more of my surroundings.

It appears to only be about a mile and a half or so. Although I am not sure of the neighborhoods, etc.

Would you walk or take a taxi?
And if you would take a taxi, any idea of what the fare would be?

I would be making the potential walk on a Monday in the morning, between 8-9am.
