I took a standard home audio headset with me on a recent AA flight - only got sound in one ear. This reminded me that on many AA and UA flights with my Bose noise cancelling headsets I have to hold the plug "just so" in order to get proper audio. This makes me wonder -are the sockets on AA to a different standard than home electronics products?
