SQ does not limit itself to English-only announcements. On certain routes, announcements are done bi-lingually or sometimes even tri-lingually. For example on one FRA-JFK, announcements were also conducted in German in addition to English. Some of my SFO-HKG flights in the past also had announcements in Cantonese.
