Compensation depends on the ticket fare paid.... Award and Upgrade a few thousand miles or so.
Paid by company up to 10'000 miles or a voucher and privately paid seems to top off at 20'000 miles.... but these are guesses and depends on if they can verfiy the damager (seat number, flight number and date.... January seems far away, and you might get nothing.
