Easy checkin online and kiosks are so prevalent now for every major carrier that United doesn't really need to provide incentive anymore.
The big lines are at the checkin kiosks. You need to get people to use the pre-airport checkin/curb side baggage option as much as possible. Just because other airlines have kiosks doesn't mean that United couldn't have a better situation at their own check in desks.
