It's not a metter of taping my photo to the front of the card. No merchant is going to accept that.

In California it is common to be asked for photo ID when using a credit card. In the Sacramento area, where I live, they ask for it about 99% of the time when purchasing goods and they will not take NO for an answer. It's either produce the ID or put the goods back- it's not open to discussion. I've never been asked for it at a restaurant, however.

It's a big deal to me because I get tired to having to get my drivers license out everytime I use the Diners card.
