Thanks everyone for the response. I went ahead and appplied and received the auto approval. I love the 5k bonus, that alone is worth it. Since we can use these pts for airline miles for even more carriers than with MR points its a no brainer for what we would use the card for. Yipee. Once we get the cards we cancel the current one. Does anyone know if I can keep the same AMEX number?
