That's why i dont encourage western gay tourists to go to Egypt or Morocco. There are ( in Egypt) really raids there in the clubs, although there is NO anti-gay law ( and western tourist also never had problems)
However, there are thousands of gays going to Morocco; but only some dozens gay europeans going to Lebanon.
Lebanese gays are fighting for the de-criminalisation of homosexuality acts and things doesnt look that bad. I enjoy to be in countries when there is some progressive evolution and kind of transition going on.
Anyway i invite you to go to Beirut. And if you decide not to have sex there you will be fine and within the laws.
But I doubt that the lebanese gays will allow that.

I'm all for travelling to countries that criminalize homosexual activity, but accept responsibility for your action... and if you get caught.. hire a lawyer with your own money... don't ask >ME< to come bail you out...
