Nonsense. I've flown 40+ longhaul sectors on BA in the last 12 months, all in Y, and have never been treated with anything other than friendliness and courtesy.

Admittedly, you can get unlucky with a crew, but to state that there is some sort of corporate culture of disdain for economy passengers is incorrect.

BA are well aware, as should most airlines be, that Y passengers keep you afloat when corporate premium cabin budgets get cut to ribbons.
