This was in March 2005 and May 2005, both is paid Biz Class (not that matters).
Perhaps it's changed. In which case, mia culpa. I noticed some people saying you couldn't do it last year, and I and many others certainly left the area both directions late last year. They did certainly try to limit the number of people and only allow it to those first several, so it would be easy for many people to think they couldn't leave, when in fact some already had.
Did you happen to observe if the gate guards were holding any BP stubs or perhaps giving stubs to people as they entered?
