Vehicle Turnover
Just recently had an A6 at ORD for a day and it was quite a treat to drive, had about 5k miles on it and I put another 400 or so on it that day. Did get a flat tire which is not the cars fault but I was able to "really" enjoy the whole package through the tire changing experience-has a full size spare, even decked out with a matching alloy wheel, no donuts here!
Anyway this made me think of something. I am taking the family (wife and son) on a two week drive this July and have chosen the A6 over the FX after renting each for a day a piece. I like the ride and tech inside the car in the A6, of cours ethis comes at the sacrafice of not having tinted windows in the back and the cargo room the FX provides, none of the other offerings Hertz has really excites me although they may have more cargo room. Just going to have to pack light!
Back to my original question. Does hertz transfer out cars from old to new at a particular time of year, or is it solely based on mileage? Just wondering my chances of getting the same A6 next month, really loved the color it was, just hope they repaired the tire that was damaged by that time!
