Haven't been to any of these in perhaps two years so no idea what goes on now.

I used to love La Plaza on La Brea. I think it was on Friday nights that just about anything went on in there - with some great drag and other performers, wild dancing. You'd meet a lot of men there you'd never be able to meet anywhere else - for those of us who think that's a good thing!

Was sometimes fun after a day at the beach to hang out at Roosterfish in Venice or - shoot, what is the name of that place on a little side street off PCH in the far northern end of Santa Monica? Quirky, half-hearted nautical theme, nice for a lazy late summer evening. Anyone?

And then my very favorite Score - downtown on 4th St. Great music, friendly crowd, relaxed and intense all at the same time. I hope it's still there.
