Fair enough comments, I tend not to share these views on WHY with QF, but maybe we are spoiled for choice in this part of the world, as it is easy to overlook BA, UA, AA etc and compare QF to SQ, EK and like. After my most recent experiences on QF and SQ in WHY, I would still take SQ, simple things like doing two drinks runs (with cocktails) before serving the meal (which came with another chance to order drinks!), attentive service throughout the flight (as opposed to not seeing anyone for hours on end), topping up my water several times when I was asleep, ensuring toilets were maintained in a clean state, a choice of 60 movies, and 2 hot towel services were just some subtle differences I noticed. Each to their own I guess.
