Sorry you had a rough time there. It is not my favorite hotel in the system, but generally has a good reputation for those SPG members with elite status. You don't state your SPG status.

Admittedly, to a large extent, status shouldn't matter. I'm just curious.

Point of clarification: the only official *wood "Copley Sq" hotel in BOS is the Westin. The Sheraton is widely known as the Sheraton Boston.

If you are a diehard for SPG points, I solidly recommend the Westin Copley for your next stay. Alternatively, I would recommend contacting a rooms manager at the Sheraton and outline your poor experiences over your last few stays and make your reservation though him/her to ensure follow through.
