on the way back from Montreal to NYC, does the train actually stand in the Rouses Point station, when the inspectors come on board - so if we get a seat in the front, we will be checked first and so, we can deboard the train rather quickly, or does the border check really happens directly on the border (which would probably only be a mile or 2 before R.P.). Are the arrival/dept times as stated by greyhound or amtrak for the border stops/ stops behind the border accurate or subject to how long the border check will take?
