Around early 2002, UA used to serve "Bistro Eggs" on its a.m. flights between ORD and LAX/SFO. (R.I.P. UA 809 -- which was, without fail, a 3-class 777!).

Back to the eggs -- they were served in a bowl, and had mushrooms and onions in the bottom, and the bowl was topped with cheese. I always enjoyed them.

My favorite meal on UA, though, was a chicken risotto (F-class, LHR-SFO, circa late 2003).
