Had a similar situation booking an upcoming ORD-PDX flight, although it was between E+ middle and E- aisle by the lavs (I'm an aisle person). Finally decided to go for E+ middle, mostly based on the lav issue!

(It now looks like economy is totally sold out, with quite a few seats left in business, and they're still selling.... I'm dreaming of a bump, or at least an upgrade.)
