Do the segments on UA metal count toward Asiana Points too? I think they do.
If I fly UA domestically could I have those flights apply to Asiana.
Getting Asiana, once reaching 40K would give me a few advantages in the *A. If I continue with this flight pattern in a couple years I woul reach 100K with Asiana and then would essentailly (hopefully) have *A Gold for life. Once I have that I could then concentrate on domestic airlines.
My partner is also spouse is also traveling with me, but they travel a lot domestically, so makes more sense to have the miles go to UA for status.
What do others think?
Speaking of segments, only Asiana flights would be counted toward Diamond status. If they count *A flights, hell many people will be able to get OZ*G easily, and they might maintain the status during lifetime with flying little.
