well, doesn't Austrian Airline give you I94-w sheets on board the transatlantic plane (in case you are connecting to the US?). I read somewhere else, that if you take the bus (greyhound) they might just continue the trip and leave you stranded at the border crossing (I can see this happening especially with this amtrak connecting service Montreal-St Albans... because of the fixed departure time of the Vermonter train.)
