not all cars. some cars 9by special purchase) are deals too good to be true for avis to pass up. so they buy a few, distribute em around the country, and see what the "upsell" market is. if your talking 2004 mustang (old style body) non convertible, that truly isnt in a class currently made by avis. But if its a convertible, then it fits squarely in the US "k" group, but they may have made a deicison to not put them in the regular rotation. I have seen seen some locations rent sebrings and mustangs together, same price and the customers get downright angry when they want a sebring and get a mustang and vice versa. But no matter what the sitaution, reserve a car, then "haggle" over the upsell price. you never know. They are sales agents, they can make a good deal if you help them with their comi$$ion.
canada isnt my bag, I cant help too much there, but if you rented a car with your wizard profile, and asked for "mustang gt" in your remarks, they are supposed to make an effort to give it to you, esp if you are select. But the pricing may not be the same as your expecting.

- Well, I called the local number and asked if they had a car code to rent it with.. The counter attendant said it doesn't have a code. (Show up, if it's here you can rent it) was what I was told. And, that the base rate was 80CAD per day.
I thought that all Avis cars were classified as 'something' and had the appropriate letter class associated with them.
Can anyone assist me so that I can find the rent my prefered select would give me?
Any input as always = appreciated.
