I'm actually quite interested in the availability of showers at/near airports. It is not unusual for me to determine my travel patterns (and my frequent flyer contributions) based on opportunities for showers on the go.

One reason why I prize Admirals Club access in the US is the wider availability of showers than other US-based carriers' clubs for the routes that I fly.

And amongst the reason why I prize OneWorld and * Alliance over SkyTeam is that shower access is much easier/quicker there than when flying SkyTeam in coach internationally. The difficulty of shower access at CDG itself is one of the reasons I avoid that airport on occassion or choose to fly there under certan conditions or make alternative plans.
