He then told me he had just played in a golf tournament in Malaysia and then we just chatted a couple of minutes on some inconsequentials. I then continued reading a newspaper and eventually got to the sports section. He noticed, pointed to a photograph, and said thats a photo of his buddy, the winner of the tournament. I didn't recognize that name either so just said something like thats nice.

I don't think we talked anymore . I think he was really expecting me to ask him about golf, but at that time, I had yet to play my first golf game.
