I try to avoid AF since I had a quite unpleasant trip with them from Bordeaux to ARN via CDG a couple of years ago.
1. There was some turbulence on the first leg of the flight. The FA then paniced and ran with the cart to the back of the plane (my friend sitting across the aisle got some orange juice over him -the FA didn't apologize).
2. At CDG the flight to ARN was deleayed due to a striking air traffic controllers (they were protesting privatizations in Italy). We got a drink woucher (soft drink or beer only) as compensation for the 3 h delay.
3. On the plane they were re shuffling some bags. Then a tractor drove over a suitcase (not mine) that the baggage handlers had left on the tarmac.

My las trip with AF (ARN-CDG-ARN) howvever went smooth. No delays, No nothing.
