I use a Magellan Roadmate "500 plus" in my car (w/ 1gb CF card picked up locally), but keep my old Magellan Meridian Color unit for traveling. Either the Meridian Color "value pack" or the new Roadmate 300 can be picked up for $450 from Costco .

Edited to add, the Meridian Color Value Pack is $349 if ordered by June 19.
