this moring fll-iah i got to my seat 11E. i was standing by for an earlier flight so no EUA for me. a guy comes up and asks if id switch so he could sit next to his wife in 11D. as I had a middle seat, i agreed, as no other seat could be much worse. he says my seats is 1A. bam, instant EUA.

10 seconds before the doors close, this guy comes back to 1A, and kicks me out as his wife was companion up'd at the last minute. it was no big deal, but i cant figure out if the guy turned out to be a major a-hole, or just doing what anyone would have done. i really think if it were me, i would have just stayed in back.

not to mention when he offered me the switch everyone around me acted as if i had won the lottery. kinda embarassing.
