dctorres, I do not know how mich (or little you fly) but almost every airline that I have ever had significant problems with in Business class such as the original poter HAS indeed FIM'd me over to another carrier. Most recently was a month ago in the EXACT same situation where SQ FIM'd me to MH because they had oversold J and had wanted to downgrade me to Y. Other airlines that have FIM'd me in similar situations include, BA, TK, DL, AA, UA, SN, KL, CX and several others. AF IS the absolute worst in this department, the worst, I once had to fight AF for THREE HOURS at CDG to get a FIM through a real csspool of a city in order to get somewhere that day when the reason I was NOT on my original fault was 100% their fault. Without going into more examples, AF is the absolute worst regarding irregular ops as well as any form of compensation or even compassion for their customers. While the above incident could occur on any carrier, AF is the worst in dealing with it.
