So I had to wrap some bottles of wine for a friend and did not have that colorful string stuff to secure the paper around the neck of the bottles. I remember the two napkin pulls I wore as jewelery on one flight, and found them in the depths of my drawers. They worked perfectly to secure the paper, and the recipient of said bottles actually put the pulls on his wrist after unwrapping the wine!

So many useful uses of things given out onboard... all those amenity bags are great, for example.
