Here's my recent plane left w/o me story.

Well I was with some fellow FTers who were lucky to get through security and on a quicker moon buggie than me at IAD and made a flight to SFO on UA. They told the GA and FA, I was a 1K and on my way and would be a few minutes. The plane was 1/2 empty, left the gate early and made it into SFO 30 minutes ahead of schedule.

Since I was not there 10 minutes before departure, UA had every right to depart without me, but it would have been a nice gesture on the GA's part to try to hold the plane a measly three minutes for me. From what I was told, the GA had that too often at IAD--"I don't care about my job and I certainly don't care about you" attitude.

I HATE departing from IAD!
