FYI, the power ports on the A330 can't handle much wattage (or there's a problem). I unplug my battery and CDROM drive and it still can't power my small Dell M700. The port is rated at 75W and my AC adapter is rated at 65W so I'm not sure why the port keeps dying.

They also had all sorts of A/V problems on a flight on Tuesday.

I flew the SEA-AMS route and will do so again in 2 weeks so I'll report on whether conditions improved. Seems the FAs are still learning how to operate the cabin features of the A330 :-)
